I supported Ron Paul when he ran for President -- in 1988.
Everyone wonders why 3rd parties are the answer, and the answer to that, is that it would be great if Republicans were really libertarians with only a name difference separating them...but that isn't the case.
The world changes, the Federalists, the Whig Party, they don't elect presidents anymore.
Someday the same will be said of the Republican party too.
There should be no objection to converting Ron Paul's support to Bob Barr. Ron Paul isn't running anymore, now that he lost the Republican nomination, and to support McCain, is to not understand anything about what Ron Paul stood for.
The only choice now, is Bob Barr. McCain and Obama are not for individual liberties.
Surprising, but even Al Gore, has spoken out longer and more passionately for constitutional liberties and balance of power than McCain or Obama, who simply don't get it.
